Built for Android tablets and built for the floor, it lets staff browse the menu, build orders at the table, and send them straight to the kitchen and POS — with zero manual server setup on most networks. Available only inside the Full Ecosystem bundle.

Automatic POS discovery
The app finds your ESTINAD POS on the local network via mDNS — connect in seconds without typing IP addresses.
Manual server connection
If auto-discovery doesn't find a match, staff can enter the POS server address manually as a fallback.
PIN staff login
Waiters sign in with the same PIN credentials as the POS for quick, secure handoffs between shifts.
Session auto-lock
After inactivity, the tablet locks and requires PIN re-entry — protecting open tables when a waiter steps away.
Visual table map
See every table on a color-coded floor plan — free, occupied, or bill requested — so staff know where to go next.
Zone filtering
Filter the table view by dining zone — terrace, main hall, VIP — to focus on one section during busy periods.

Menu browsing & ordering

Can I use ESTINAD Waiter with ESTINAD Retail?
No. Waiter is part of the Restaurant Full Ecosystem only — retail business types disable the waiter module entirely.
What if auto-discovery doesn't find the POS?
Staff can fall back to entering the POS server address manually from the discovery screen.
What happens when the tablet loses the connection?
A banner shows the disconnected state and sending is blocked until the link to the POS returns, so no order is silently lost.
