ESTINAD KDS turns the kitchen line into a live board. New orders appear the moment waiters and cashiers submit them, with urgency timers, station filtering, and audio alerts so nothing sits too long. Runs on Android tablets, TVs, or wall-mounted screens — part of the ESTINAD Restaurant Full Ecosystem, and currently in beta.

Live order tickets
New order lines appear on screen in real time as waiters and cashiers submit them — no printer delay or lost chits.
Bump to complete
Tap to mark a ticket done and clear it from the active queue — a clean view of what's still cooking.
Recall bumped orders
Bumped too soon? Open recall mode to bring recently completed tickets back onto the board.
Color-coded urgency timers
Each ticket shows elapsed time with green → yellow → red indicators so the line knows what's been waiting longest.
Audio alerts
Play a sound when a new order arrives so staff hear incoming tickets even when not looking at the screen.
Station filtering
Show only tickets for your station — grill, bar, cold prep — based on print routing destinations from the POS.
Always-on display
The screen stays awake in immersive mode during service so tickets are always visible on the line.
Auto-reconnect
If the link to the POS server drops, the KDS reconnects automatically with visible status — no manual restart.
Server & display settings
Configure the PocketBase server URL, station filters, audio, and language from an in-app settings screen.
Kitchen flow

Is ESTINAD KDS production-ready?
It is in beta. Live ticket display, bump/recall, urgency timers, and station filtering are implemented and running; we continue to harden it with restaurant partners.
Can I use paper tickets and KDS together?
Yes. The POS routes items to both printers and the KDS, so kitchens can run a digital board alongside existing paper chits during the transition.
What hardware does KDS run on?
Any Android tablet, TV-backed screen, or wall-mounted display that can reach the POS server on the local network.
